We have some amazing consignors here. We just got some brand new Chanel items in, still with their tags on! First up is a pastel blue boucle, infused with tiny sequins, knit 3/4 length jacket. It is a french size 36. Next up is a black evening jacket with satin bows, it also has a pair of matching pants with it (not photographed).  The jacket is size 36, and the pants are size 38. Lastly, is a cream knit jacket with denim trim, it is size 40. Please contact us for more details.

Within the last couple of months we have had quite a few requests for gowns. We want our customers happy, so you ask and we give! We have plumped up our stock of current and vintage full length frocks at the Meow Meow. Come and see them, won’t you?

The “bouquets” from our last window got swept up rather quickly, so it’s bonus time! A new window, four days early. We don’t expect this one to last long either, so let’s see if we can go into double bonus round, shall we?

We are fortunate enough to be able to present to you a rare find! A late 1940′s-early 1950′s Dior gorgeous emerald and clear crystal demi-parure. This set is from before Dior started to mass produce his jewellery. He used the Maison Francis Winter to collaborate with and create jewellery for his couture collections. The necklace and earrings are both marked Made in France, and would have been designed by Roger Jean-Pierre. The necklace measures 16″ in length with the centre drop being 3.1/4″ (from top to bottom). The earrings are 1.1/8″ by 1″. In pristine condition. Comes with it’s original Dior box. So mother’s day is approaching, are you ready?  She did spend years being pregnant with you and days in labour (or so she says). Here’s our version of the bouquet! Nothing says ‘thanks for birthing me’ like a gift from The Cat’s Meow!

We have been asking our customers to send us pictures of them wearing their vintage frocks that they purchased at The Cat’s Meow.  We would like to do more ‘Out and About’ postings, so get them in ladies! They can be sent to info@thecatsmeowcouture.com. The lovely Singa Bui sent us a picture of her wearing a 1950′s cotton dress that she purchased from us years ago. We absolutely had to blog about it, Singa is perfectly effervescent!
